209 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 93-095 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO <br />AMEND RESOLUTION NOS. 82-110 AND 91-066 TO EFFECT CERTAIN <br />CHANGES TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION <br />PLAN, AND TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO REALLOCATE <br />CERTAIN POSITIONS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the city Charter of the <br />City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and <br />maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil <br />service rules and regulations and the approval of the city Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and <br />adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the <br />Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the City <br />of Santa Ana; and on July 1, 1991, passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 91-066, re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for classes <br />of employment designated as unrepresented executive and middle <br />management; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 17, 1993, the city Council passed and adopted <br />Ordinance No. NS-2198, which establishes the City's Budget <br />authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1993-94, and which <br />sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of <br />authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, routine maintenance of the Basic Classification and <br />Compensation Plan and/or the findings of various classification and <br />compensation studies reveal the need to effect certain changes to <br />the Plan and to reallocate certain positions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resolution Nos. 82-110 and <br />91-066 and the Fiscal Year 1993-94 Budget in order to effect these <br />changes. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> <br />
