RESOLUTION NO. 94-012 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION <br />NO. 93-090 TO REVISE THE PERMIT PARKING <br />REGULATIONS IN THE FRENCH COURT PERMIT <br />PARKING DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 1, 1993, this Council adopted its <br />Resolution No. 93-090, establishing the French Court Permit Parking <br />District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution does not allow parking permits to <br />persons residing in multi-family dwellings if such dwellings are <br />located on a lot in the said District which contains more than four <br />dwelling units; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council does now desire to amend the French <br />Court permit parking regulations to allow the Executive Director to <br />waive the abovesaid restriction in cases where its application <br />causes undue hardship; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA that section 4 of Resolution No. 93-090 of this <br />Council is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 4. Persons entitled to a permit to park in <br />locations subject to permit parking restrictions <br />pursuant to this resolution include and are limited <br />to the following: <br /> <br /> (a) Any person who is licensed to drive a <br />motor vehicle and who resides in a single-family <br />dwelling located on a lot in the District which does <br />not have more than one dwelling unit located on it, <br />provided that not more than three permits may be <br />issued at any one time to the residents of any one <br />such dwelling unit. <br /> <br /> (b) Any person who is licensed to drive a <br />motor vehicle and who resides in a multi-family <br />dwelling located on any lot in the District which <br />does not have more than four dwelling units located <br />on it, provided that not more than one permit may be <br />issued at any one time to the residents of any one <br />such dwelling unit; and provided further, that the <br />Executive Director of the Public Works Agency may <br />waive the foregoing limitation on the number of <br />dwelling units on a lot if he determines that its <br />application in a particular case would cause extreme <br /> <br />289 <br /> <br /> <br />
