RESOLUTION NO. 94- 050 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA CONCERNING THE <br />STATUS OF THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT <br />FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to maintain and <br />improve the streets within its jurisdiction, including those <br />arterials contained in the Master Plan of Arterial Highways (MPA/q), <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has endorsed a definition <br />of and a process for, determining consistency of the City's Traffic <br />Circulation Plan with the MPAH, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has adopted a General Plan Circulation <br />Element which does not preclude implementation of the MPAM within <br />its jurisdiction, and <br /> <br /> WMEREAS, the City has adopted a resolution informing the <br />County of Orange that the City's Circulation Element is in <br />conformance with the County's Master Plan of Arterial Highways and <br />whether any changes to any arterial highways of said Circulation <br />Element have been adopted by the City during Fiscal Year 1993-94, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is required to send annually to the <br />County of Orange all recommended changes to the City Circulation <br />Element and the County Master Plan of Arterial Highways for the <br />purpose of requalifying for participation in the Arterial Highway <br />Financing Program and Measure M's Streets and Roads Programs. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SDdqTA ANA that the City of Santa Aha, does hereby inform <br />the County of Orange and the Orange County Transportation Authority <br />that: <br /> <br /> 1. The arterial highway portion of the City Circulation <br />Element of the City is in conformance with the County Master Plan <br />of Arterial Highways. <br /> <br />through lanes <br />Year 1993-94. <br /> <br />The City attests that no <br />has been made on any MPAM <br /> <br />unilateral <br />arterials <br /> <br />reduction in <br />during Fiscal <br /> <br /> 3. The City has adopted a uniform setback ordinance <br />providing for the preservation of rights-of-way consistent with the <br />MPAH arterial highway classification. <br /> <br /> <br />
