239 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 94-052 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO EFFECT <br />CERTAIN C~ANGES TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION <br />AND COMPENSATION PLAN, AND TO AMEND THE CURRENT <br />ANNUAL BUDGET TO REFLECT THESE CHAI~GES. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the <br />City of Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and <br />maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil <br />service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and <br />adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the <br />Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the City <br />of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 5, 1994, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Ordinance No. NS-2225, which establishes the City's budget <br />authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1994-95, and which <br />sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of <br />authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Development Agency has a need to create <br />an entry level classification in the Neighborhood Improvement <br />Section of the Housing Division to meet the service requirements of <br />the community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new classification title <br />at an appropriate level of compensation in order to properly <br />classify and compensate said new classification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resolution No. 82-110 and <br />the Fiscal Year 1994-95 Budget in order to effect these changes. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br />1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by: <br /> <br />Deleting the classification title of Employment Services <br />Supervisor at Salary Rate Range No. 619 ($4278 minimum to <br />$5201 maximum per month). <br /> <br /> <br />
