RESOLUTION 94-061 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 AND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD TWO FEDERALLY FUNDED POSITIONS. WHEREAS, Se~t~Qn 100~,' Article X of the City Charter of the City of ~n~a~ ~q~r~-~ City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position'cl~ssi~ication and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, on July 5, 1994, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. NS-2225, which establishes the City's budget authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1994-95, and which sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; and WHEREAS, new federal funds have been received by the City for the purpose of expanding the Job Training Partnership Act program, and additional staff is needed to develop and administer these expanded programs; and WHEREAS, it is now desired to add two new classification titles at an appropriate level of compensation in order to properly classify and compensate said new classifications; and WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resolution No. 82-110 and the Fiscal Year 1994-95 Budget in order to effect these changes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the classification titles of Reemployment Coordinator at Salary Rate Range No. 529 ($2758 to $3352 per month), and Intake Specialist at Salary Rate Range No. 480 ($2169 to $2637 per month). 2. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1994-95 be amended by allocating one Reemployment Coordinator and one Intake Specialist.
