347 RESOLUTION NO. 94- 074 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 94-037 TO CONSENT TO AN INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FUNDS FROM THE NORTH HARBOR REDEVELOP- MENT PROJECT WHICH MAY BE USED FOR IM- PROVEMENTS TO ROSITA PARK WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, by its Resolution No. 94-037, adopted June 20, 1994, determined that the construction of a recreation center in Rosita Park is of benefit to the Santa Ana North Harbor Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area, that no other reasonable means of financing construction of said recreation center is available to the City and that the use of funds of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana for construction of said recreation center will assist in the elimination of one or more blighting conditions; and consented to the use of funds of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana to pay a portion of the cost of construction of said recreation center; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 94-037 consented to the use of up to $2 million in Agency funds from the North Harbor Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area for the construction of said recreation center; and WHEREAS, it now appears that up to $2.5 million in Agency funds from the said project area will be necessary for the construction of said recreation center; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that Resolution 94-037 is amended in the following respects: 1. The fifth recital in said resolution is amended to read as follows: WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana ("City") has assembled $0.6 million in funds from various sources in order to finance the construction of the Recre- ation Center, leaving a shortfall of approximately $2.5 million; and 2. The sixth recital is said resolution is amended to read as follows: WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of 1
