4].5 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 95-010 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO <br />AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD FIFTEEN (15) FEDERALLY <br />FUNDED POLICE OFFICER POSITIONS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 5, 1994, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Ordinance No. NS-2225, which establishes the City's budget, <br />authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1994-95, and which <br />sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of <br />authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been received from the Federal Department <br />of Justice through the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) <br />Program for the purpose of hiring fifteen (15) police officers; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1994-95 <br />Budget in order to effect this change. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br />1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1994-95, as amended, be <br />further amended by allocating an additional fifteen (15) Police <br />Officer positions. <br /> <br />2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions <br />of the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1994-95 shall remain in full <br />force and effect. <br /> <br /> <br />
