421 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 95-012 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO <br />AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD THE CLASSIFICATION OF DARE <br />OFFICER TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION <br />PLAN. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the <br />city of Santa Ana requires the city Manager to prepare, install and <br />maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil <br />service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and <br />adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the <br />Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the City <br />of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, continuing the existing Drug Abuse Resistance and <br />Education (DARE) Program under the direction of the Santa Ana <br />Police Department requires the addition of a classification to the <br />Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resolution No. 82-110 in <br />order to effect this change. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br />1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by adding in proper alphabetical sequence, the new <br />classification title of DARE officer at Salary Rate Range No. 526, <br />$2717-$3302 per month. <br /> <br />2. That except as amended by <br />provisions of Resolution No. 82-110 <br />effect. <br /> <br />this Resolution, all other <br />shall remain in full force and <br /> <br /> <br />
