RESOLUTION 954)22 <br /> <br /> When a building is demolished, the owner shall provide the <br />City with a cash or surety bond as described in Section 8-1768 <br />through 8-1771 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. For the purpose of <br />lot cleanup and capping of the sewer lateral, the value of the bond <br />is to be established by the Building Official but in no case shall <br />the bond be less than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per <br />building. A single family dwelling and garage shall be considered <br />as one building for bonding purposes. <br /> <br />(NOTE: A demolition permit fee is separate from and additional <br />to the fee for any other permit which may be required by code <br />provisions other than those specifically regulating demolition.) <br /> <br />H. FLOODPLAIN CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS VARIANCES <br /> <br /> The fee for an application for a variance from the floodplain <br />construction standards of the City shall be one- hundred fifty-two <br />dollars ($152.00). <br /> <br />I. ~PPEALS <br /> <br /> The fee for an appeal to the Uniform Code Appeals Board shall <br />be seven-hundred and seven dollars ($707.00), payable at the time <br />of filing of the appeal. <br /> <br />RELOCATION INSPECTIONS <br /> <br /> The fee for an inspection on a building or structure, as <br />required for its proposed relocation, shall be two hundred fifty- <br />three dollars ($253.00) for each main building or structure and <br />fifty-one dollars ($51.00) for each accessory building or <br />structure. If the buildings or structures to be inspected are <br />outside of the City, reimbursement for mileage traveled at the rate <br />of $0.50 per mile and travel time at the rate of fifty-one dollars <br />($51.00)per hour is additionally required. <br /> <br />K. APPLICATION PROCESSING AND PLAN CHECKING FEES <br /> <br /> An application processing fee and plan checking fee shall be <br />paid to the Building official at the time of submitting plans for <br />checking. Such fee shall be equal to sixty-five percent (65%) of <br />the building permit fee as set forth in this resolution. For all <br />buildings, such fee shall also include a surcharge for state <br />mandated energy conservation enforcement equal to $22.00 for each <br />1,000 square feet of building area, or fraction thereof, up to <br />4,000 square feet, and $11.00 for each additional 1,000 square feet <br />or fraction thereof. For any plan submitted which is subject to <br />the disabled accessibility requirements of Title 24, california <br />Code of Regulations, a surcharge of 10% of the basic plancheck fee <br />shall be required. <br /> <br />Page 43 <br /> <br /> <br />
