RESOLUTION 95-029 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NOS. 82-110 <br />AND 91~066 TO PROVIDE AN EQUITY ADJUSTIVIENT FOR <br />THE CLASSIFICATION OF POLICE COMMUNICATIONS <br />MANAGER (RM). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ava requires <br />the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject <br />to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 82- <br />110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the <br />City of Santa Aha; and on July 1, 1991, passed and adopted Resolution No. 91-066, re- <br />establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for classes of employment designated as unrepresented <br />executive and middle management; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the findings of a compensation study conducted by the Personnel Services <br />Department at the request of the Police Chief show the need to provide an equity adjustment for <br />the classification of Police Communications Manager (RM); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend said Resolutions to effect these changes. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA: <br /> <br />1. That Section 3B of Resolution 91-066, as amended, be further amended by deleting the <br />classification of Police Communications Manager (RM) from this Resolution, to transfer it to <br />Resolution No. 82-110. <br /> <br />2. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, be further amended by adding the <br />existing title of Police Communications Manager (RM), transferred from Resolution No. 91-066, <br />and providing an equity salary adjustment from Salary Rate Range No. M635 ($4624-$5356) to <br />Salary Rate Range No. M645 ($4858-$5623). <br /> <br />3. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of Resolution Nos. 82-110 <br />and 91-066 shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />H:\OP SRESO~,AYRESO.9 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
