OZ7 "' <br /> <br />EJCmvb: 7/5/95 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-032 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR <br />BICYCLE AND/OR PEDESTRIAN FUNDS UNDER THE <br />ORANGE COUNTY BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN <br />FACILITIES PROGRAM AND APPROVING THE ADOPTION <br />OF ITS BICYCLE AND/OR PEDESTRIAN PLAN. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Program <br />provides that two percent of each county's total Local <br />Transportation Fund be annually set aside and used to fund the <br />development of bicycle and pedestrian facilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city of Santa Ana has planned a bikeway system in <br />conformance with specifications of Caltrans' Planning and DesiGn <br />Criteria for Bikeways in California and the Regional Transportation <br />Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to construct the master <br />bikeway system within their city utilizing the funds available <br />under the Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Program. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the city of Santa Ana does <br />resolve as follows: <br /> <br />To construct the City of Santa Ana's Bikeway System in <br />conformance with the specifications of Caltrans' Planning <br />and DesiGn Criteria for Bikeways in California and the <br />Regional Transportation Plan. <br /> <br />To authorize the Executive Director of the Public Works <br />Agency as the city's authorized signature and designated <br />contact person; <br /> <br /> <br />
