Council received a report of the Police <br /> investigation of a request for a fee <br /> exempt license to conduct a Safety Clinic, <br />sell and install seat belts. It was moved by Councilman Brewer, seconded by <br />Councilman Hubbard, and carried, that T T~mers, Inc., be advised that their <br />request had met with approval, subject to submitting to the Council the dates <br />of the proposed clinic. <br /> <br />RECORD OF SURVEY 292 On motion of Councilm,n Hubbard, seconded <br /> by Councilman Schlueter and carried, <br /> Council approved Preliminary Record of <br />Survey 292 filed by Garnet S. ~mm, ing, creating two lots on the north side <br />of Waraer Avenue, south of Pendleton Avenue, subject to the conditions set <br />forth in the Planning Director's letter dated January 2, 1963. <br /> <br />TRACT 4811 - SANTA CLARA Council received a report of the staff <br /> investigation of a request filed by the <br /> subdivider of Tract ~Sll for the refund <br />of $3,230.00 assessed at the time of Final Tract Map approval for~the improve- <br />ment of Santa Clara Avenue~ It was moved by Councilman Brewer, seconded by <br />Counc~lm-n Gilmore and carried, that the City Council find that the assess- <br />ment was proper and deny the reimbursement request. <br /> <br />BOOKMDBILE SERVICES On motion of Counc~lm-n Brewer, seconded <br />Rl~DALE SCHOOL by Counc~lm-n Gilmore and carried, Council <br /> received and ordered filed the Library <br /> Board's report of its investigation of <br />the request for bookmE)bile services for Riverdale School, and instructed the <br />Clerk to notify the Principal of Riverdale School of the Board's findings. <br /> <br />CROSSWALK - 17TN Council received a report of the staff <br />AT SANTA ANA COTJRGE investigation of a request for a cross- <br /> walk across 17th Street, west of Bristol. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Brewer, <br />seconded by Counc~]m-u Gilmore and carried, that the request for a crosswalk <br />on 17th Street at Santa Aha College be denied. <br /> <br />City Council - 6 - <br /> <br />January 7, 1963 <br /> <br /> <br />
