281 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 95-075 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO EFFECT CERTAIN CHANGES TO <br />THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay <br />plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and <br />employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the findings of various classification and compensation studies reveal <br />the need to effect certain changes to the Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resolution No. 82-110 in order to effect <br />these changes. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br />1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby further amended <br />by adding in proper alphabetical sequence, the new classification titles of Firearms <br />Examiner at Salary Rate Range No. 572, $3398-$4132 per month, and Park Maintenance <br />Aide at Salary Rate Range No. 365, $1239-$1506 per month. <br /> <br />2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of Resolution No. <br />82-110 shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />3. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after December 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> <br />
