SOLICITATION REQUEST On motion of Councilm~n Brewer, seconded by GLASPIE Councilman Schlueter ~nd carried, the request made by Rev° Jack Glaspie, 2201 Wo 9th Street, to solicit funds for church property from February 22nd to March 27, 1963, was referred back to the Police Department, for further investigation after the addresses of the solicitors are ascertained° SOLICITATION REQUEST from April i to July 26, 1963o On motion of Co.uncilman Bre%~r, seconded by CounciLman Hubbard and carried, Council granted permission to the Y~M.C.~Ao to sell peanuts ~.~\ SOLICITATION REQUEST On motion of Councilman Brewer~ seconded by Crippled Children Councilman Hubbard and carried, Council granted permission to the Orange County Crippled Children Society to place coin containers in business establishments from March lQ to April 14, 1963. · STRE~'I' IMPROV~4ENT On mo'~ion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by COSTS Councilman Brewer and carried, Council approved payment of $79ho~5 to Walker and Lee, Inc., for removal of existing street improvements and construction of new curb and gutter, sidewalk ~nd pavement on the east side of Bristol north of Warner, in exchange for r~ght of way dedication° MUSEUM STORAGE CONTRACT On motion of Councilms~ Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Brewer and carried, Council author- ized extra work in the amount of $132.25 for the Museum Storage Contract. J. ROSITA PARK BRIDGE On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by ~t~' CounciLman Brewer and carried, Council author- ized proper authorities to sign permit with Orange County Flood Control District to con- struct a footbridge and two storm drain inlets for Rosita Park° DRIVEWAY WIDTH On motion of CouncilmaD Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Brewer and carried, Council approved a staff recommendation, that two k6 foot drive- ways be approved for Santa Ana Car Wash on 18th Street, subject to the conditions that the 5rive%~y nearest ~ain Street not en- croach into the curb return, and that the contractor construct normal depression at alley.
