3'63 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 96-006 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO <br />AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD THE CLASSIFICATION OF OCJP <br />GPJkNT COORDINATOR TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND <br />COMPENSATION PLAN, AND TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO <br />ADD ONE (1) OCJP GR3kNT COORDINATOR POSITION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the <br />City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and <br />maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil <br />service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and <br />adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the <br />Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the City <br />of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 19, 1995, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Ordinance No. NS-2253, which establishes the City's Budget <br />authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1995-96, and which <br />sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of <br />authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha was selected to receive funds <br />made available through the Title V Incentive Grants for Local <br />Delinquency Prevention Program administered by the Office of <br />Criminal Justice Planning (OCJP); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, effective administration of the OCJP grant requires <br />a position to coordinate program activities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resoluti6n No. 82-110 and <br />the Fiscal Year 1995-96 Budget in order to add a new classification <br />at an appropriate salary range and to authorize the addition of <br />this position, funded by OCJP grant funds, to the FY 1995-96 <br />budget; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> <br />
