3'63 RESOLUTION 96-006 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD THE CLASSIFICATION OF OCJP GPJkNT COORDINATOR TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN, AND TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD ONE (1) OCJP GR3kNT COORDINATOR POSITION. WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and WHEREAS, on June 19, 1995, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. NS-2253, which establishes the City's Budget authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1995-96, and which sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha was selected to receive funds made available through the Title V Incentive Grants for Local Delinquency Prevention Program administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (OCJP); and WHEREAS, effective administration of the OCJP grant requires a position to coordinate program activities; and WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resoluti6n No. 82-110 and the Fiscal Year 1995-96 Budget in order to add a new classification at an appropriate salary range and to authorize the addition of this position, funded by OCJP grant funds, to the FY 1995-96 budget; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
