RESOLUTION 96-035 <br /> <br />REVENUE <br />ACCOUNT <br /> <br />SECTION IV <br /> <br />5546 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENTfMISCELLANEOUS FEE OR SERVICE UNIT <br /> <br />PROPOSED <br />FEES <br />FY~-~ <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT - CONTINUED <br /> <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIALS RELEASE RESPONSE PLANS AND INVENTORIES <br /> <br />RANGE DETERMINATION: <br /> For the purposes of this Resolution, each business in the City of Santa Ana which is required to submit a <br /> business plan and/or inventory pursuant to the Health & Safety Code, Chapter 6.95 of Division 20, shall be <br /> assigned a "range" consisting of a "range-number" and a "range-letter" determined as follows: <br /> <br />RANGE-LETTER: <br /> The range-letter of a business shall be based upon the total number of hazardous substance and hazardous <br /> waste categories listed on the inventory of the business which is submitted to the City in accordance with the <br /> following schedule: <br /> <br />Range~l. gA~ ' ' ie, xl <br />A 1-2 <br />B 3-5 <br />C 6-9 <br />D 10-20 <br />E Over 20 <br /> <br />RANGE-NUMBER: <br /> The range-number of a business shall be based on the maximum quantity of all hazardous materials presem <br /> on the business premises at any time in accordance with the following schedule: <br /> <br />Range Gases Liquids <br />Number LCAlbic Feet~ LGallons) <br />1 200 to 1,000 55 to 1,000 <br />2 1,001 to 5,000 1,001 to 5,000 <br />3 5,001 to 10,000 5,001 to 10,000 <br />4 Over 10,000 Over 10,000 <br /> <br />The range-numbers of gases, liquids and solids on the business premises shall be computed separately, and <br />the highest range-number in any of the three categories shall be the range-number of the business. <br /> <br />Page 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
