582 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 96-035 <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />SPECIFIC CODE FEES AND CHARGES <br /> <br />BUILDING CODE <br /> <br />Any person desiring a pemait required by the Building Code shall, at the time of <br />filing an application therefore, pay a fee equal to $17.00plus the sum of the fees for <br />the work to be done under the permit as set forth in the following schedule. There <br />is no minimum fee for the issuance of a permit for single family residences and <br />duplexes. The minimum total fee for issuance of a permit for all other uses shall be <br />fifty-one dollars ($51.00). <br /> <br />The determination of total valuation shall be made by the Building Official. The <br />value to be used shall be the total value of all construction work for which the permit <br />is issued using the building valuation data based upon in the most recent edition of <br />Building Standards published by the International Conference of Building Official. <br />The value of work performed as a remodel and other valuations not published by the <br />International Conference of Building Officials shall be determined by the Building <br />Official. <br /> <br />PARKING LOT RESURFACING <br />AND/OR REPAINTING <br /> <br />Existing parking lot resurfacing and/or repainting, fee shall be based on the value <br />of the work performed. <br /> <br />B. UNDERGROUND TANK REMOVAL <br /> <br />Underground tank removal and backfill fee shall be based upon valuation. <br /> <br />C. EXCAVATION FOR SOH. CONTAMINATION <br /> <br />Excavation and backfill related to soil contamination fee shall be based upon <br />valuation. <br /> <br />Page 50 <br /> <br /> <br />
