059 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9 6-o 4 6 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL <br />OF PROJECTS TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION <br />AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED <br />TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAMS <br /> <br /> BE 1T RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha desires to implement the transportation <br />improvements listed below; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has been declared by the Orange County <br />Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M <br />"turnback" funds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana's Circulation Element is consistent with the <br />County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha will provide matching funds for each project as <br />required by the Orange County Combined Transportation Funding Programs Procedures <br />Manual; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds <br />for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA requests the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate <br />funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to Santa Aha from the Combined <br />Transportation Funding Programs for the following projects: <br /> <br /> Recommended TDM Projects Cost Estimates <br /> Alton/Maple Bikeway Gap Closure Right-of-Way $100,000 <br /> Police Department Mountain Bikes and Bicycle Equipment 45,000 <br /> Pilot Telecommuting Program 20,000 <br /> <br /> Strategic Program for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure 100,000 <br /> Installation <br /> <br /> <br />
