249 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96- 077 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE <br />ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN WITH REGARD <br />TO PROPERTY LOCATED ON BOTH SIDES OF <br />MAIN STREET BETWEEN THE SANTAANA FREE- <br />WAY AND MAINPLACE DRIVE (GPA 96-4) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, <br />after noticed public hearing, approved an amendment to the General <br />Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has held a duly noticed public hearing <br />on said General Plan amendment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA that the "Land Use Plan" of the Land Use Element of <br />the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended to: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />redesignate those areas of the city shown as Areas 1 and <br />2 on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, <br />from the "General Business District" category to the <br />"Professional and Administrative office" category. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />redesignate that area of the city shown as Area 3 on <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, from <br />the "General Business District" category to the "Low <br />Density Residential" category. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 3rd day of September , 1996. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~/~ice C, ~uy /. <br />~lerk of the Council <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />Pulido Aye <br />Richardson Aye <br />Espinoza Fay <br />Lutz Aye <br />McGuigan Aye <br />Mills Aye <br />Moreno N~y-- <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Richard E.
