5.09 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96- 103 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA DECLARING THE RESULTS <br />OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD <br />IN SAID CITY ON NOVEMBER 5, 1996 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of the City of Santa Ana, a general <br />municipal election was held in the city of Santa Ana on November 5, 1996, to fill <br />the office of Mayor of said City and offices of members of the City Council of <br />said City nominated from Wards 1, 3 and 5 of said City; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the results of the said election, including the whole number of <br />votes cast in the City, the names of the persons voted for, for what office each <br />person was voted for, and the number of votes given in the City to each person, <br />are set forth in that certain document attached hereto as Exhibit A and <br />incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth. <br /> <br /> 2. That, based upon said results, MIGUEL A. PULIDO is declared elected to <br />the office of Mayor of the City of Santa Ana for a two-year term. <br /> <br /> 3. That, based upon said results, the following person~ are declared <br />elected to the following respective offices, for four-year terms: <br /> <br />TED R.
