015 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-004 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT <br />ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD THREE GRANT FUNDED <br />INTAKE SPECIALIST POSITIONS. <br /> <br />J~F: 119197 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 15, 1996, the city Council passed and <br />adopted Ordinance No. NS-2283, which establishes the city's budget, <br />authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1996-97, and which <br />sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of <br />authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has received a grant from the <br />State of California Job Training Partnership Division for the <br />purpose of strengthening existing programs offered by the Santa Ana <br />WORK Center, and to implement an electronic one-stop facility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been received through this grant for the <br />purpose of hiring three intake Specialists to assist with <br />implementation of program goals, and to assist with training and <br />placement of Santa Aha WORK Center Clients; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1996-97 <br />Budget in order to effect these changes. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1996-97, as <br />amended, is hereby further amended by allocating three additional <br />Intake Specialist positions. <br /> <br /> 2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other <br />provisions of the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1996-97, as <br />amended, shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> 3.
