02 ? <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97- 007 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING IMPROVEMENTS <br />TO THE SANTA ANA-DELHI AND SANTA ANA- <br />GARDENS FLOOD CONTROL CHANNELS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District proposes <br />to construct certain improvements to the Santa Aha-Delhi and <br />Santa ~Lna-Gardens Flood Control Channels in the City of Santa <br />Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, section 21020.0 of the Public Contracts Code of the <br />State of California requires that prior to commencement of the <br />work or improvements within a municipality and before any <br />contract shall be let therefor, the flood control district must <br />obtain the approval of the plans and specifications for such work <br />by the legislative body of the municipality; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Agency of the City of Santa Aha <br />has reviewed the plans and specifications prepared for the <br />proposed improvements to the Santa Aha-Delhi and Santa Wa- <br />Gardens Flood Control Channels and recommends that the City <br />Council approve the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ~NA that the City Council does hereby approve the <br />plans and specifications for the proposed improvements to the <br />Santa Ana-Delhi and Santa Aha-Gardens Flood Control Channels, a <br />submitted by the Orange County Flood Control District and <br />recommended for approval by the Public Works Agency. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 21st day of January , <br /> 1997. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br />Pulido Aye <br />Richardson Aye <br />Espinoza Aye <br /> <br />Lutz -A~ye <br />McGuigan Aye <br />Franklin Aye <br />Moreno Aye <br /> <br />ttorney <br /> <br /> <br />
