109 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97~22 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR <br />HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE A GRANT AWARD <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE SANTA ANA COMMUNITY ACTION <br />NETWORK PROGRAM <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, The City Council of the City of Santa Ana desires to undertake a <br />certain project designated the Santa Ana Community Action Network Program, to be <br />funded in part from funds made available through the Title 5 Community <br />Delinquency Prevention Program administered by the Office of Criminal Justice <br />Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP); <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />that the City Manager or his Designee is authorized on behalf of the City of <br />Santa Ana to submit the attached proposal to OCJP and is authorized to sign and <br />approve on behalf of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana the attached Grant <br />Award Agreement, including any extensions or amendments thereof. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide all matching <br />funds required for said project (including any amendment thereof) under the <br />Program and the funding terms and conditions of OCJP and that the cash match will <br />be appropriated as required. <br /> <br /> IT IS AGREED that any liability arising out of the performance of the Grant <br />Award Agreement, including civil court actions for damages, shall be the <br />responsibility of the grant recipient and the authorizing agency.
