30i <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97- 039 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO SUBMIT A GRANT <br />AWARD AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE <br />PLANNING FOR THE STREET TERRORIST OFFENDER PROGRAM II <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana desires to continue a certain <br />project designated the Street Terrorist Offender Program II funded in part from funds made <br />available through the Gang Violence Suppression Program administered by the Office of <br />Criminal Justice Planning (hereinafter referred to as OCJP); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA, that the Chief of Police of the City of Santa Aha, California is authorized on its behalf to <br />execute the attached Grant Award Agreement including any extensions or amendments <br />thereof. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide all matching funds required <br />for said project (including any amendment thereof) under the Program and the funding terms <br />and conditions of OCJP and that the cash match will be appropriated as required. <br /> <br />IT IS AGREED that any liability arising out of the performance of the Grant Award Agreement, <br />including civil court actions for damages, shall be the responsibility of the grant recipient and <br />the authorizing agency.
