381 RESOLUTION NO. 97-054 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS FROM THE MOBILE SOURCE REVIEW COMMITTEE FOR THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AB 2766 SUBVENTION FUND MATCH PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is committed to improve air quality and provide effective and efficient multi modal transportation system to serve Santa Ana residents, business and visitors; and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has the opportunity to take a leadership role in the development of advanced transportation and clean air technologies; and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana wishes to utilize a portion of the City's AB 2766 Subvention Funds to implement the construction of a parking structure to serve commuters at the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center ($313,655) and the completion of Phase I of the Downtown/Civic Center sign program to direct travelers from the freeway to their destination in the Downtown/Civic Center area ($47,000); and WHEREAS, The City of Santa Ana will enter into an Agreement with the Mobile Source Air Pollution Review Committee for the implementation of the projects by June 30, 1999. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to file an application with the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee for the Subvention Fund Match Program on behalf of the City of Santa Aha. 2. The City Manager, or his designee, may conduct all negotiations on behalf of the City of Santa Ana and execute and submit all documentation, including but not limited to, applications, agreements, endorsements, and payment requests, which may be necessary for the completion of the aforementioned projects. 3. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to utilize a portion of the City's AB 2766 subvention funds as co- funding toward a potential grant award under the Local Government AB 2766 Subvention Fund Program.
