45 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-016 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR THE TITLE <br />V DELINQUENCY PREVENTION PROGRAM AND DELEGATING <br />AUTHORITY TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF RECREATION <br />AND COMMUNITY SERVICES TO EXECUTE THE GRiLNT AWARD <br />AGREEMENT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Santa Aha desires <br />to undertake a certain project designated "The Minnie Community <br />Action Network" to be funded in part from funds made available <br />through the Title V Delinquency Prevention Program (~Program") <br />administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning <br />(~OCJP"). <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Executive Director of the Recreation <br />and Community Services Agency of the City of Santa Ana is <br />authorized, on behalf of the City Council, to submit the <br />attached proposal to OCJP and sign and approve the attached <br />Grant Award Agreement including any extensions or amendments <br />thereof. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide <br />all matching funds required for said project (including any <br />amendment thereof) under the Program and the funding terms and <br />conditions of OCJP and that the cash match will be appropriated <br />as required. <br /> <br /> IT IS AGREED that any liability arising out of the <br />performance of this Grant Award Agreement, including civil court <br />actions for damages, shall be the responsibility of the grant <br />recipient and the authorizing agency. The State of California <br />and OCJP disclaim responsibility for any such liability. <br /> <br /> <br />
