MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CIT~[ OF SANT~ ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />April 15, 1969 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:90 p.m. Roll call was answered by <br />Councilmen Hubbard, Harvey, Gilmore, Schlueter, and Mayor Hall. Following <br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was delivered by the <br />Reverend Carl Berger, Retired, First Presbyterian Church. <br /> <br />BID AWARD - FIFTH STREET Council heard the City Manager's request <br />D~MOLITION for extension of time for opening of bids <br /> for the demolition of buildings on the <br /> south side of Fifth Street between Bush <br />Street and Spurgeon Street. On motion of Coumc~lm-n Hubbard, seconded by <br />CouncilmAu Gilmore and carried, Council extended bid openin~ date to April <br />22, 1963. <br /> <br />NEARING Mayor Hall opened the hearing on <br />AMEND. APP. 433 Amendment Application 433 for the <br /> reclassification of property south of <br /> First Street and east of Sullivau <br />Street frmm the R 3 District to the R 4 District° There being no response <br />to the Mayor's call for testimony, the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Harvey and carried, <br />that the Council approve the reclassification and instruct the City Attorney <br />to prepare an appropriate ordinance granting the reclassification <br />according to E~hibit AA 433A. <br /> <br />HEARING Mayor Hall opened the hearing on proposed <br />STREET ALIGNMENT Precise Plan of Street Alignment NO. 5 <br />SANTA CLARA to detemine precise alignment of Santa <br /> Clara Avenue between Main Street and <br />Broadway. There being no response to the Mayor's call for testimony, the <br />hearing was closed° <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0. 63-61 ADOPTING PRECISE STREET ALIGNMENTOF SANTA CLARA <br />AVENUE BETWEENMAIN STR~A'ANDBROADWAY, AS SHOWN ONE~.~IT PPSA~5, was <br />introduced by title. It was moved by Councilmau Hubbard, seconded by <br />~ounc~Iman Gilmore, that further reading be waived and Resolution No. 63-61 <br />be adopted. Segerstrom for the -~endment <br /> of Sectional District Map 7-5-9 to <br />reclassify from the C 2 amd P Districts to the C 3 District, property <br />between 10th and llth Streets and between Main amd Bush Streets.
