RESOLUTION NO. 98-023 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE SUBMI'I-I'AL OF FOURTEEN STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJE~'I'~ TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHOPJTY FOR FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA HEREBY RESOLVES, DETERMINES, AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS THAT: (a) WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to implement the transportation improvements listed below; and (b) WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has been declared by the Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M 'tumbac~' funds; and (c) WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and (d) WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will provide matching funds for each project as required by the Orange County Combined Transportation Funding Program Procedures Manual; and (e) WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County; and (f) WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will not use Measure M funds to supplant Developer Fees or other commitments; and (g) WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will use Artedal Highway Rehabilitation Funding as a supplement to their existing pavement management program; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby requests the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to said City from the Combined Transportation Funding Programs. Said funds shall be matched by funds fi'om said city as required and shall be used as supplemental funding to aid the City in the improvement of the following streets:
