303 <br /> <br />CIVIC CENTER DISTRICT PUSHCART STANDARDS <br /> <br />QUANTITY AND LOCATION <br />Civic Center District <br /> <br />A maximum of nine (9) carts will be allowed in the Civic <br />Center District and only at locations approved by the <br />Executive Director of the Planning & Building Agency, or <br />his or her designee. <br /> <br />APPEARANCE AND DESIGN <br /> <br />Vendor's carts and their operators must be approved by <br />Police and Health officials prior to review and approval by <br />the Executive Director of the Planning & Building Agency or <br />his or her designee. Vendors are encouraged to strive for <br />the use of the most aesthetically pleasing equipment and <br />employee attire and must conform to the following design <br />standards: <br /> <br />ao <br /> <br />Cart exterior must be of wood, enameled steel, or <br />lexan finish. <br /> <br />B. Colorful and clean canopies or umbrellas are <br /> encouraged, but are not mandatory. <br /> <br />Any signage located on the cart must be concise, <br />professionally applied, and approved by the Executive <br />Director of Planning & Building, or his or her <br />designee. <br /> <br />Operators must wear a readily identifiable upper body <br />blouse, shirt, or jacket that identifies the vendor. <br />Festive and colorful presentations are encouraged. <br /> <br />PRODUCT MIX <br /> <br />The maximum level of product mix will be sought (two <br />different products). If this proves unlikely, alternatives <br />may be considered. <br /> <br /> <br />
