323 <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 98- 049 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE CURRENT <br />ANNUAL BUDGET TO ALLOCATE TWO <br />ADDITIONAL POSITIONS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 18, 1998, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. <br />NS-2348 which establishes the City's budget authorizing position allocations for Fiscal <br />Year 1998-99 and which sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of <br />authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Cotmcil; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has approved execution of three grant agreements to <br />conduct recreation programming for at-risk youth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Executive Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />and the Executive Director of Personnel Services have determined that two additional <br />positions will be required to administer and ensure compliance of these grant programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, grant funding has been allocated to support these positions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1998-99 Budget in order to <br />effect these changes. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1998-99, as amended, is further amended <br />to allocate one additional O.C.J.P. Grants Coordinator and one additional Records <br />Specialist; and <br /> <br /> 2. Except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the Annual <br />Budget for Fiscal Year 1998-99 shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
