351 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98- 0 56 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />April 30, 2000, based upon the category "All Urban Consumers." The CPI will be rounded up or <br />down in accordance with the City's salary matrix and based upon the following formula: <br /> <br />CPI Salary Increase <br />0 - .600 = .50% <br />.610 - 1.19 = 1.00% <br />1.20- 1.60 = 1.50% <br />1.61 -2.19 = 2.00% <br />2.20 - 2.50 = 2.50% <br /> <br />If either the Police Officers Association or Firemen's Benevolent Association receives in excess <br />ora five salary rate range (2.5%) salary increase during Fiscal Year 2000-01, then the employees <br />designated as Unaffiliated Confidential (UC) shall receive the same. <br /> <br /> 2. That Section 12, Subsection "D" of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "D. Dental Insurance. Effective October 1, 1998 and October 1, 1999, <br />respectively, the City agrees to contribute a maximum of up to $30 per month per employee <br />toward the payment of premiums for dental insurance plans provided by the City for affected <br />employees and their eligible dependents. Effective October 1, 2000, the City contribution <br />amount will be increased up to a maximum of up to $40 per month per employee. <br /> <br />Any contribution necessary to maintain benefits under said dental plans in excess of the amounts <br />set forth above shall be borne entirely by the employee." <br /> <br /> 3. That Section 12, Subsection "E" of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "E. Tuition Reimbursement. Confidential employees shall continue to be <br />eligible to participate in the existing Training and Education Assistance Program provided for all <br />regular, full time employees of the City, except, however, reimbursement for eligible employees <br />shall be one hundred percent (100%) of tuition and registration costs up to a maximum of two <br />thousand dollars ($2,000) per year in accordance with the provisions of that Program." <br /> <br /> 4. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of Resolution No. <br />82-110 shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> <br />
