Mayor Hall was absent. <br />Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was delivered <br />by the Reverend W. C. Birmingham, Assistant Pastor of 0rangethorpe Methodist <br />Church, Fullert on. <br /> <br />MINUTE~ APPROVAL <br /> <br />On moticm of Counc~lm-n Harvey, seconded <br />hy Councilman Schlueter and carried, the <br />City Council approved the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of May 20, 1963, and the <br />Minutes of the Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />of May 22, 1963. <br /> <br />BIDS On motion of Counci~an Schlueter, <br />1 - LIABILITY INSURANCE seconded by Councilman Gilmore and carried, <br /> Council received and ordered filed a <br /> tabulation of bids received for furnishing <br />liability insurance coverage for three years beg~nBing July l, 1963, and <br />postponed award of the contract to the meeting of June 17, 1963, on recom- <br />mendation of the City Manager. <br /> <br />BIDS The City l~mager submitted a tabulation <br />2 - A. Do 213 of bids received for the construction <br />RES° 63-103 of sanitary sewers and appurtenances in <br /> Assessment District 213, reported that <br />the low bidder claimed an error of about $10,000, and that the second low <br />bid was an unbalanced bid. <br /> <br />RE~OLUTION NO. 63-103 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAI~TA ANA, CALIFORNIA, <br />REJECTING BIDS AND 01~DERING THE READVERTISING FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF CERTAIN WORK was read by title. It was moved by Councilman Harvey, <br />seconded by Counc~lma- Schlueter, that further reading be waived and <br />Resolution 63-103 be adopted.
