RESOLUTION NO. 98- 092 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SA/qTAD~NA ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL EVENT <br />SIGN PERMIT FEE CATEGORY <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA HEREBY RESOLVES, <br />DETERMINES, AND DECLARES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. <br />NS- 2379 , entitled ~An Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City <br />Of Santa Aha Amending The Sign Code To Delete Aerial Balloon Signs <br />And Limit The Use Of Special Event Signs Or Displays;" and <br /> <br /> Wq4EREAS, this Ordinance requires that the City shall issue <br />special event signs on a limited basis; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Planning and Building Agency has analyzed <br />the cost of issuing such permits; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, according to the Planning and Building Agency, it <br />is estimated to cost approximately $50.00 to issue the permits; <br />and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS., based upon these facts the Council finds that a <br />special event sign permit of $50.00 represents a fair and <br />equitable fee which is reasonably related to the City's cost in <br />issuing the permits; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that this $50.00 <br />fee is reasonably related to the costs of the City expended in <br />providing the service, processing the application, undertaking <br />the review, or undertaking the action required or provided for <br />under the Ordinance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based upon the testimony, <br />evidence submitted on this matter, this <br />specified findings. <br /> <br />reports and other <br />Council makes the above- <br /> <br /> <br />
