STR~T COST RE~URS]~ENT On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Harvey and carried, Council approved reimbursement of ~7,859.~8 to the Martin Corporation for street improvements constructed in excess of local street requirements in connection with Preliminary Map 313. BOND ~SE Acting on the reco~a~endation of the Public Works Director, the City Council, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Harvey and carried, approved the release of faithful performance and monument bonds for Tract ~Sll, South- east Santa Clara Avenue and Pasadena Street. SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY Council received Surplus Property Report ~1-63 for 1R,880 sq. ft. of land on the north side of East First Street, east of Santa Fe Street and Surplus Property Report k2-63 for 10,660 sq. ft. of land on the southeast corner of Sauta Fe Street and Second Street. On motion of Counc~lm~n Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Harvey and carried, the Council determined that the properties are of no present or prospective use to the City and authorized sale by public oral bidding at the Council meeting of September 3, 1963. ?%' REVISe) PRELIM]iIARY Filed by Robert F. ATTORNEY'S ABS]~CE on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Gilmore and carried, Council approved the City Attorney's request to be absent from the city August 21 - August 29, 1963, and from October 6 - October 21, 1963. COUNCILMAN'S ABSENCE On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilm-n Gilmore and carried, Council approved a request from Councilman Harvey to be absent from the regular meeting of August 19, 1963 because of being out of the city.
