255 RESOLUTION NO. 2000-043 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana does find, determine and declare as follows: The City of Santa Ana desires to implement the transportation improvements listed below; The City of Santa Ana has been declared by the Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; The City's Cimulation Element is consisted with the County of Orange Master Plan of Artedal Highways; The City of Santa Ana will provide matching funds for each project as required by the Orange County Combined Transportation Funding Program Procedures Manual; The Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County; The City of Santa Ana will not use Measure M funds to supplant Developer Fees or other commitments; and The City of Santa Ana will use Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Funding as a supplement to their existing pavement management program. SECTION 2: The Executive Director of the Public Works Agency is authorized to submit projects for funding consideration under the Combined Transportation Funding Programs. SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby requests the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate funds in the amounts specified in the Resolution No. 2000-043 Page 1 of 3
