355 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-076 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF <br />THE GENERAL PLAN TO RAISE THE FLOOR AREA RATIO <br />FROM 1.0 TO 1.5 WITH REGARD TO PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 1551 NORTH TUSTIN AVENUE (GPA 00-02) <br /> <br />BK: 11/21100 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, after noticed public <br />hearing, has recommended for approval an amendment to the General <br />Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set forth. <br /> <br />This Council has held a duly noticed public hearing on said General Plan <br />amendment. <br /> <br />As part of the comprehensive General Plan update and revision in 1997 the <br />Floor Area Ratio for this property was inadvertently lowered from 1.5 to 1.0. <br /> <br />Due to the existence of a Development Agreement between the City and <br />BentallNVestminster Partners, this change had no effect when adopted. <br /> <br />This Development Agreement has now expired, but the City Council has at <br />this meeting introduced an ordinance reinstating a Development Agreement <br />for the remainder of the site with new exactions. <br /> <br />For these reasons, and because it is appropriate for the entire property to <br />be developed at the same Floor Area Ratio, the Council proposes to raise <br />the Floor Area Ratio back to the previous value it had for this property <br />alone. <br /> <br />In conjunction with the introduction of an ordinance introducing <br />Development Agreement 00-01 this night, the Council has certified and <br />adopted Addendum Environmental Review No. 00-04 to Final <br />Environmental Impact Report No. 88-02 in conjunction with this Project. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana <br />is hereby amended to redesignate the Floor Area Ratio for the property located at 1551 <br />North Tustin Avenue from 1.0 to 1.5. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-076 <br /> PAGE I OF 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
