SEWERS - FIGUEROA On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br /> by Councilman Schlueter and carried, <br /> Council continued to the meeting of January <br /> 20, 1964 action on staff report of investigation <br />of requests for sewers on North Figueroa in former Assessment District 218. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br /> by Councilman Schlueter and carried, <br /> Council received and referred for further <br /> investigation the staff report regarding <br />request from Orange County Employees Association for traffic control device at <br />8th and Ross. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br /> by Councilman Harvey and carried, Council <br /> received and ordered filed the staff report <br /> of investigation of oetition for traffic <br />signal or other control at intersection of 4th and Lacy; denied the request <br />for signal, crossing guard, or portable signal, but directed the Manager to <br />proceed with installation of pavement markings as rec~ended. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL Council received a report of the staff's <br /> investigation of a petition for traffic <br /> controls on McFadden. Madelyn Cenkar, <br /> Secretary of the Homeowners Association of <br />Southwest Santa Ana, and Mr. KuJowski, 842 S. Porter, spoke in support of the <br />petition. <br /> <br />The City Manager explained that signals for Harbor and McFadden were recom~ended <br />in the budget for the coming year and that zebra-type painting of crosswalks near <br />schools will be installed. <br /> <br />The Mayor suggested that Mrs. Ce~k-r arrange an appointment with the City Manager <br />so that she and any other interested persons could review the report. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Gilmore and carried, <br />Council received and ordered filed the report. <br /> <br />17TH STREET On motion of Councilm-n Hubbard, seconded by <br />CHANNELIZATION Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council <br /> received and ordered filed a report from the <br /> Director of Public Works regarding the meeting <br />with property owners relative to left turn movements at 17th and College. <br /> <br />PRE. REC. OF SURVET On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by <br />3~6 - WEBER PLYWOOD CO. Councilman Harvey and carried, Council post- <br /> poned to January 20, 1964 action of Preliminary <br /> Record of Survey 346 filed by Weber Plywood <br />Company creating two M 1 lots on the east side of Grand Avenue, south of Warren <br />Street. <br /> <br />TENT. TRACT MAP 5451 On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br /> by Councilman Gilmore and carried, Council <br /> approved Tentative Tract Map 5~51 filed by <br /> ¥orba Investment Company to create twelve <br />A 1 lots on the west side of Flower, south of the Pacific Electric Railway Right <br />of Way, subject to the conditions listed in the Planning Director's report dated <br />December 30, 1963. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />299 - <br /> <br />January 6, 196~ <br /> <br /> <br />
