RESOLUTION NO. 2001-009 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD SIX POSITIONS IN THE PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES AGENCY WHEREAS, on June 19, 2000, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. NS-2431, which establishes the City's Annual Budget, authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 2000-2001, and which sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; and WHERAS, due to increasing infrastructure and maintenance service needs at the Santa Aha Zoo, additional staff is required to meet performance standards; and WHEREAS, to ensure compliance with these standards, as well as the timely renovation and maintenance of exhibits at the Santa Ana Zoo, the Executive Director of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency proposes to add six (6) additional positions to the current Annual Budget; and WHEREAS, funds to support these additional positions are available from a partial refund of Educational Revenue Augmentation Fund (EPAF) monies; and WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 2000-2001 Annual Budget, in order to effect these changes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2000-2001, as amended, be further amended by allocating four additional Zoo Keeper I positions, one additional Associate Zoo Curator position and one additional General Maintenance Worker position. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2000-2001 shall remain in full force and effect. 3.
