HEARING - AMEND. APP. 4B5 Mayor Hall opened the hearing continued from <br />LAMBERT January 20, 1964 on Amendment Application <br /> 435 filed by Barbara Lambert, proposing to <br /> amend Sectional District Map 17-5-9 to <br />reclassify frcm the M I to the R 4 District property south of McFadden, west of <br />Lyon. The Clerk reported a communication from the Planni~ Commissio~ requested <br />more time for study of the matter. Dale Heinly, attorney for the applicant~ <br />stated the applicant had no objection to a continuance of 30 to 60 days. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Gilmore and carried, <br />Council continued the hearing to April 20~ 1964, 7:30 p.m.~ in the Council <br />Chamber, 217 North Main. <br /> <br />ORAL PROTEST <br /> <br />L. M. Duntley, 727 W. 7th, LOS Angeles, owner <br />of property at the northwest corner of <br />McFadden and Ivon, objected to any change <br />of zoning in that area frcm M 1 to R 4. <br /> <br /> c~/~/ <br />CODE AMEND~IT <br /> <br />Mayor Hall opened the hearing on proposed <br />amendment to Section 9271., subsection (r), <br />paragraphs (1) and (2)~ future right of <br />way lines for Santa Clara Avenue. <br /> <br />The Clerk reported that notice of the hearing was published in The Register on <br />February 1, 1964 and that no written c.~..~u_uications or objections had been <br />received. There being no response to the Mayor's call for testimor~ the <br />hearing was closed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Harvey and carried, <br />Council approved the revision of future right of way lines for Santa Clara between <br />Main and Broadway as recommended by the Planning Cc~mnission~ and instructed the <br />City Attorney to prepare an ordinance amending the Municipal Code accordingly. <br /> <br />BUSINESS LICENSE <br />TAXES <br /> <br />0EDINANCE NS-718 REENACTING THE PROVISIONS <br />OF THE SANTA ANA ~JNICIPAL CODE REGARDING <br />BUSINESS LICENSE TAXES was read by title. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilmaa Schlueter, that <br />further reading be waived and Ordinance NS-718 be adopted.
