RESOLUTION 2001-030 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR <br />OF THE PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY TO EXECUTE RIGHT <br />OF WAY CERTIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and declares <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Each year the Santa Ana Public Works Agency designs and manages <br />roadway improvements on: <br /> <br />Federally funded projects administered by the State of California, <br />Department of Transportation ("Caltrans"), and <br /> <br />Local projects within the Caltrans right of way which are not <br />federally funded. <br /> <br />These projects require the City to certify that any right of way interests <br />necessary for the project have been, or are being secured in accordance <br />with applicable laws and regulations or that no additional property rights or <br />right of way are required for the project. <br /> <br />A local agency may, by resolution, give a responsible agency official <br />authority to execute all Right of Way Certifications. <br /> <br />2. The City Council hereby authorizes the Executive Director of the Public Works <br />Agency, and his designees, to execute all Right of Way Certifications for federally <br />funded projects administered by Caltrans and non federally funded local projects within <br />the Caltrans right of way. <br /> <br />3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to affix his signature to this resolution signifying <br />its adoption by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana and the City Clerk is directed to <br />attest thereto. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 16th day of April, 2001. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-030 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
