RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 042 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT <br />STANDARDS FOR HOTELS/MOTELS AND LONG-TERM STAY <br />BUSINESS HOTELS <br /> <br />BK: 6/25/01 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />Section 10 of City Ordinance No. NS-2471, adopted on May 21, 2001, <br />provides that the City Council may adopt by resolution design and <br />development standards as guidelines for proposed new hotel/motels <br />and/or long term stay business hotels. <br /> <br />The City's Planning Commission has, after a full and complete review, <br />recommended that the City Council adopt design and development <br />standards for hotels/motels and long term stay business hotels. <br /> <br />C. The Council finds that it is appropriate to adopt such standards. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The design and development standards for hotels/motels and long <br />term stay business hotels attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2, are hereby approved <br />and adopted as part of the City's design and development standards, and shall be made <br />regularly available by the City's Planning and Building Agency. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 2nd day of July, 2001. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Joseph W.
