RESOLUTION NO. 2001-100 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL <br />BUDGET TO ALLOCATE TWO POSITIONS IN THE FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />On June 18, 2001, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. <br />NS-2474, which establishes the City's Annual Budget, authorizing position <br />allocations for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, and which sets forth the <br />requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be <br />reviewed and approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />The Fire Chief proposes to add two (2) additional positions to the current <br />Annual Budget, to help with the administration of the City's proposed <br />establishment of a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) <br />program. <br /> <br />It is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Budget, as <br />amended, in order to effect these changes. <br /> <br /> Section 2: That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, as amended, be <br />further amended by allocating one (1) Fire Captain position and one (1) Senior Office <br />Assistant position. <br /> <br /> Section 3: That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the <br />Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, as amended, shall remain in full force and <br />effect. <br /> <br /> Section 4: That except as stated otherwise above, this Resolution shall be <br />operative from and after December 17, 2001. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 17th <br /> <br />__ day of December, 2001. <br /> <br /> ~yoe~ A.
