Paul Greenwood, 1401 E. 15th, representing residents and owners along 15th Street ~nd Linwoo~ Street, voiced support of the application as long as the landscaping was guaranteed and as long as there is a 75 foot buffer from the back~ar~s of residences to the first building. In answer to a question from ~ayor Hall, Mr. Bueche stated he understoo~ the requests regarding landscaptn~ and the applicant agreed to provide it. In answer to a question from Vice ~ayor Hubbard, the Plan~ing Director stated Co~e provisions for the C 4 district require approval of a plot plan, and the staff would not approve a building permit unless the landscaping reqUirements discussed ~re sho~n on the plot pla~. There being no further testimony, the hearing was closed. It was moved by Counci!-~- Hubbard, seconded by Councilman ~arvey and' carried, that the Council approve reclassification ~nd instruct the City Attorney to prepare an amending ordinance according to Exhibit AA 4~ 2. ~.
