It was moved by C~Au¢ilman Hubbard, seconded by Counc~lm-n Harvey that the <br />Council grant the appeal and instruct the City Attorney to prepare a resolution <br />deleting Condition No. 1 of the Findings of Fact made by the Zoning Administrator <br />on May ll, 196~. <br /> <br />~. APP. 499 - Hearing was opened on Amendment Application <br />DI~RICH 499 filed By R. A. Diedrich, to amend <br /> Sectional District Map 6-5-9 by reclassifying <br /> from the R i to the R 4 district property <br />on the east side of the Santa Fe RaiLroad between l?th and Santa Clara. Planning <br />C~ission Resolution 5687 rec~ended denial of the application. <br /> <br />The Clerk reported that notice of the hearing was published in The Register on <br />May 22, 196~ and that letters in opposition to the application had been filed by <br />the following: Carl ~. Segal, 113 E. Beechwood Circle; Olga Segerblcm~ 923 E. <br />Jonquil Road; Mr. an~ Mrs. T. A. Pratt, 2315 N. Eastwood Lane; an~ Mr. and Mrs. <br />N. J. Scbmttz, 111~ E. Beechwood Circle. The letters were received and ordered <br />filed on motion of Counctlmau Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter. <br /> <br />Warren Proctor, 115 W. 15th, representing the applicant, requested a two week <br />continuance in order to submit an alternate proposal to provide a buffer for <br />the adjacent residential area. Ernest R. Siegfried, 1202 E. Avalon, representing <br />a number of opponents, expressed accord with the continuance o <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, <br />Council continued the hearing to June 15, 196~, 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />At 8:50 p.m. a ten minute recess was <br />declared.
