17th STR~'£ CN-RA~P It was moved by Council,ab H=b~ar~, REALIGI~E~T seconde~ by CounciJ~ Gilmore that proper authorities be authorized to execute an agreement with the Division of Highways for the realignment of the 17th Street On-Ra~p. Ivan Scott, 2026 Poinsettia~ submitted a letter objecting to the real~nt as proposed and suggesting alternate pla~$o The letter was read in full by the Clerk, and received and ordered filed on .motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Council- .~B Schlueter and carried° Kerwin jacobs, 915 E. Avalon, requested the matter be delayed for the purpose of having traffic surveys made o The ~otion was withdrawn by Councilman Hubbard, with the approval of the second. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Gilmore and carried, the matter was continued for two weeks and the staff requested to study the letter received for possible alternative solutions. Bolsa, Wes~inster, $322.56 for construction in excess of local street requirements on Hazard Just east of Newhope; Tc~ Borgese, $5,866.S0 for i~prove~ents on ~lsa and Newhope in exchange for dedication of ultimate right of way for construction of traffic signal Project T-~.
