RESOLUTION NO. 2002-032 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ALLOCATE TVVO ADDITIONAL POSITIONS IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE EMANCIPATED YOUTH PROGRAM BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council hereby, finds, determines and declares as follows: On June 18, 2001, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. NS-2474 establishing the City's Annual Budget and authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 2001-2002. The Ordinance also set forth the requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions must be approved by the City Council. New Revenue funds from grants from the County of Orange Social Services Agency for the City's Summer Youth and Emancipated Youth Programs have been recognized in the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 City budget. C= The City Council has approved the execution of an agreement between the City of Santa Ana and the City of Anaheim whereby the City of Santa Ana will provide services to clients under the Emancipated Youth program. Under the Agreement, the City of Anaheim will be ultimately responsible for the costs of administering the program. It is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Budget, as amended, in order to add two grant-funded positions to the Community Development Agency at the Santa Ana WORK Center, to staff the aforementioned program. Section 2: That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, as amended, is hereby further amended by allocating two (2) additional Workforce Specialist II positions. Section 3: That except as stated otherwise above, this Resolution shall be operative from and after April 15, 2002 ADOPTED this 15th day of April , 2002. Resolution No. 2002-032 Page 1 of 2
