RESOLUTION NO. 2002-032 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL <br />BUDGET TO ALLOCATE TVVO ADDITIONAL POSITIONS <br />IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE <br />EMANCIPATED YOUTH PROGRAM <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby, finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />On June 18, 2001, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. <br />NS-2474 establishing the City's Annual Budget and authorizing position <br />allocations for Fiscal Year 2001-2002. The Ordinance also set forth the <br />requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions must <br />be approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />New Revenue funds from grants from the County of Orange Social <br />Services Agency for the City's Summer Youth and Emancipated Youth <br />Programs have been recognized in the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 City <br />budget. <br /> <br />C= <br /> <br />The City Council has approved the execution of an agreement between <br />the City of Santa Ana and the City of Anaheim whereby the City of Santa <br />Ana will provide services to clients under the Emancipated Youth program. <br />Under the Agreement, the City of Anaheim will be ultimately responsible <br />for the costs of administering the program. <br /> <br />It is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Budget, as <br />amended, in order to add two grant-funded positions to the Community <br />Development Agency at the Santa Ana WORK Center, to staff the <br />aforementioned program. <br /> <br /> Section 2: That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by allocating two (2) additional Workforce Specialist II <br />positions. <br /> <br /> Section 3: That except as stated otherwise above, this Resolution shall be <br />operative from and after April 15, 2002 <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 15th day of April , 2002. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-032 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
