RESOLUTION NO. 2002-044 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE SANTA ANA PUBLIC <br />LIBRARY TO JOIN THE LIBRARY OF CALIFORNIA <br />ARROYO SECO LIBRARY NETWORK <br /> <br />mjv:05142002 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Public Library desires to join the Library of California <br />Arroyo Seco Library Network <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Public Library agrees to comply with all provisions of the <br />Library of California Act and Regulations and conditions of membership <br />within the network <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Public Library agrees not to reduce funding for library <br />services as a result of network participation. <br /> <br />D. The Santa Ana Public Library agrees that its participating libraries will: <br /> <br />Share resources and services with other members of the Arroyo <br />Seco Library Network. <br /> <br />Provide resources and services for other members of the Arroyo <br />Seco Library Network. <br /> <br />Meet the minimum resource-sharing performance standards of the <br />Arroyo Seco Library Network. <br /> <br />E. The City has been deemed eligible to apply for said funds. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby: <br /> <br />Authorizes membership of the Santa Ana Public Library in the Library of <br />California Arroyo Seco Library Network. <br /> <br />Appoints the City Manager or the Library Director, or their designee, as <br />agent for the City of Santa Ana to conduct all negotiations, execute and <br />submit all documents including, but not limited to applications, <br />agreements, ame.qdmen'~s, payment requests and so on, which may be <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-044 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
