RESOLUTION NO. 2002-046 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Aha <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position <br />classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations <br />and the approval of the City Council. <br /> <br />On August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. <br />82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and <br />Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />On July 1, 1991, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 91- <br />066, re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for <br />classes of employment designated as unrepresented Executive <br />Management (EM) and Middle Management (MM). <br /> <br />Do <br /> <br />With the adoption of the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2002-2003, the <br />City Council authorized certain organizational, staffing, and compensation <br />changes which affect a number of class titles in the City's Basic <br />Classification and Compensation Plans. <br /> <br />It is now desired to amend Council Resolution No. 82-110 and Resolution <br />No. 91-066 to effect these changes. <br /> <br /> Section 2: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by adding the following full-time classification title at the five-step <br />monthly Salary Rate Range (SRR) indicated, effective July 1,2002: <br /> <br /> SRR Annual Salary <br />Class Title No. (Min-Max) <br /> <br />Crime Research Analyst 626 <br /> <br />($53,112-64,584) <br /> <br /> Section 3: That Section 3B of Resolution No. 91-066, as amended, be further <br />amended by: <br /> <br />Adding the following full-time classification title at the fifteen-step Salary <br />Rate Range (SRR) indicated, effective July 1, 2002: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-046 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
