RESOLUTION NO. 2002-048 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO REALLOCATE ONE POSITION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: On June 18, 2001, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. NS-2474, which established the City's Annual Budget, authorized position allocations for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, and which set forth the requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council. B= The Youth Council, a subcommittee of the Workforce Investment Board, has assumed an increasingly active role in administrative and coordination duties, thus significantly increasing the duties and responsibilities of the incumbent who staffs the Council. C= It is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Annual Budget by reallocating one position from its current classification to a classification that more accurately reflects the duties and responsibilities of this position. Section 2: That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, as amended, be further amended by reallocating one (1) position as shown below: 6-step Salary Rate Range Effective June 5, 2002 FROM Salary Rate Annual Salary Class Title Range No. (Min-Max) Workforce Specialist II 551 $36,804-$46,980 TO Salary Rate Class Title Range No. Workforce Specialist III 571 Annual Salary (Min-Max) $40,572-$51,804 Section 3: That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
