The City Mauager stated that the staff considered the appraisal a <br />fair one. Dr. Israel's letter was ordered filed on motion of Councilman <br />Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried. <br /> <br />A~IOAN ~UNICIPAL On motion of Councilman Eubhard, <br />ASSOCIATION seconded by CuunciLman H~rvEy and <br /> carried~ Council received and ordered <br /> filed a ccmmmunication from American <br />Municipal ~ssociation requesting Council's recommendation for new name of <br />the organization. <br /> <br />SALARY INCREhSES On motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br /> seconded by Councilman Narvey and <br /> carried~ Council approved salary <br /> increases for meritorious service as <br />recommnended i~ ~zuager's report dated July 28, 1964o <br /> <br />RE~'~E~DUM The Clerk reported that on july l~, 1964 <br />PETITION a Referendum Petition was filed protesting <br /> the adoption of Ordir~nce NS-729 and. <br /> requesting that the Crdiz~ce be repealed <br />or submitted to the voters; thmt the Registrar of Voters had filed a Certificate <br />with the Clerk declaring that on the date of filing of the pebitlon there were <br />46,244 voters registered in the City.
